1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the JibLee application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JibLee. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility
To use JibLee, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Complete identity verification using a valid government-issued ID
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
- Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations
JibLee requires identity verification for all users to maintain a safe and trusted community. Unverified accounts cannot create deals or post offers.
3. Platform Description
JibLee is a peer-to-peer matching platform that connects travelers with available luggage space to people who need items delivered internationally. The platform facilitates:
- Posting travel offers with route, dates, and available weight
- Searching for travelers heading to specific destinations
- In-app messaging between matched users
- Creating and digitally signing deals for item delivery
Important: JibLee is a matching platform only. We are not a shipping carrier, customs broker, or delivery service. We do not take possession of, transport, or deliver any items. All arrangements are made directly between users.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date profile information
- Use only one account per person — creating multiple accounts is prohibited
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.
5. User Conduct
When using JibLee, you agree to:
- Treat other users with respect and communicate honestly
- Honor the deals you sign within the app
- Only ship items that are legal in both the origin and destination countries
- Accurately describe items, weight, and delivery requirements
- Not misrepresent your identity, travel plans, or luggage capacity
- Not use the platform for illegal activities, scams, or fraud
6. Deals & Transactions
Deals are agreements created between a seeker (sender) and a traveler within the JibLee app. By creating or accepting a deal, you agree that:
- Both parties must digitally sign the deal in the app for it to be valid
- JibLee does not guarantee delivery, payment, or resolution of disputes
- Prices, terms, and conditions are negotiated directly between users
- You are fully responsible for ensuring items comply with customs and border regulations
Tip: Always verify the items you carry and never accept sealed packages. Use the in-app deal system to have a digital record of your agreement.
7. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from being shipped through JibLee:
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances
- Weapons, explosives, or ammunition
- Counterfeit goods or stolen property
- Hazardous materials (flammable, toxic, radioactive)
- Live animals or perishable biological materials
- Items prohibited by the laws of either the origin or destination country
- Currency, securities, or negotiable instruments in large quantities
Users who attempt to ship prohibited items will be permanently banned from JibLee, and relevant authorities may be notified.
8. Limitation of Liability
JibLee is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- JibLee is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from transactions between users
- We do not guarantee the identity, reliability, or trustworthiness of any user beyond the verification process
- We are not responsible for items lost, damaged, confiscated, or delayed during transport
- We are not responsible for customs duties, taxes, fines, or legal consequences related to shipped items
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to JibLee (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to JibLee at any time, without prior notice, if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful behavior
- Attempt to ship prohibited items
- Use the platform in a way that could harm other users or JibLee's reputation
You may also delete your account at any time through the app's Help Center or by contacting us at jiblee.app.support@gmail.com.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through:
- An in-app notification
- An email to your registered address
- An updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page
Continued use of JibLee after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
